So, this weekend is the first where this project is at risk. Ahhh! I feel like I am cheating right now. I need to write. Something. Anything.

I was however able to wake up early this morning and squeeze in a viewing of the Australian vampire flick, Thirst. Well, I guess it is a vampire flick.

Blood farmers feed of the blood of dirty hippies. I kinda like this idea actually. Hippies are gross. It’s a fact. Anyway, this film is pretty decent and I would recommend it to other slow burning horror film lovers. A different kind of vampire movie, more like crazy people who like to drink blood and wish they were vampires. Maybe like, The Hunger, but a lesser version?

It’s intriguing and somewhat thought-provoking without being too pretentious or in your face about it. The best quality was the mood. It remains unsettling and peaked and then kept my interest throughout the film.

If you are in the mood for a change within the vampire genre, fire up your good friend Netflix and sit back. You will probably like this one, especially if like to see people get “milked.” I know I do.

I promise to get back on track after the weekend. Cheers everyone.

Snore Factor: ZZZ (A nice slow burning unique “vampire” flick)
